Restoring from an R1Soft backup is accomplished from inside the R1Soft Server Backup Manager:

Click Home in the top menu bar, then click R1Soft Backup Service under Your Active Products/Services;
On the Manage tab, click Log In To Control Panel;
In the R1Soft Backup Manager, click on Protected Machines. Click the gear icon for the machine you wish to restore, then click Open Recovery Points from the menu;
In the list of Recovery Points, click the gear icon for the point you wish to use for the restore, and select Bare Metal Restore from the menu;
Work through the steps in the wizard dialog. Follow the link on the first screen to download the bootable Recovery Media and boot your target machine from this media before proceeding with a restore. Briefly, you will be prompted to:
- Choose the file systems that you will be restoring from;
- Select the host to restore to (either the original host or an alternate);
- Select the storage configuration for restore (alternate may not be available);
- Map the restore to file system on target;
- Specify any additional options, such as a post-restore reboot or a file system check.
Click Restore to start the restoration process. A progress dialog will show you the stats for the restore in real time. You can close this dialog if you wish the restore process to run in the background. You can revisit the stats for the restore job by clicking gear icon -> Task History for the protected machine at any time.
