Cancelling R1Soft Backup Service  Print this Article

If you no longer need R1Soft Backup Service, you can cancel it, and it will be removed from your account and billing at the end of your current billing cycle. Note that any backups that you have created with R1Soft Backup Service, including job configs and all backup images will be destroyed if they still exist on the cancellation date, so be sure to take copies of any important data before cancelling your service:
  1. Go to your client area homepage;
  2. Find BaaS under "Your Active Products/Services" and click on it;
    • If you wish to remove one or more backup jobs but keep the R1Soft Backup Service, click Log In To Control Panel, go to Protected Machines, then select Delete Protected Machine from the gear icon menu, and confirm removal of the machine and its disk safes in the dialog box which follows;
  3. To remove the entire R1Soft Backup Service service from your account, click Request Cancellation, either on the sidebar or in the Manage Product area;
  4. Provide a reason for the cancellation (optional), then click Request Cancellation.
  5. Customer service will review your request and reach out to you with any questions. Unless you hear otherwise, R1Soft Backup Service will be canceled and removed from your account and billing at the end of the current billing cycle.
